Als 2011 mein erstes Kind auf die Welt kam, hatte ich bereits zwei abgeschlossene Berufsausbildungen (Sozialpädagogik und Psychotherapie) und jahrelange Berufserfahrung mit Kindern und Jugendlichen - von den Begriffen „Hochsensitivität“, „Hochsensibilität“ und „Hochreaktivität“ hatte ich jedoch noch nie etwas gehört. Nach den ersten 6 Monaten Muttersein stieß ich auf einen Artikel in der Zeitschrift „Eltern“ und mir wurde klar, warum mein Kind so „anders“ als alle anderen Kinder war. In weiterer Folge arbeitete ich mich durch zahlreiche Literatur und Forschungsarbeiten zum Thema Hochsensitivität. Ich erkannte, dass sowohl mein Mann als auch ich ebenfalls zu den 20-30 % HSP gehören und nach und nach integrierte ich mein Wissen und meine persönlichen Erkenntnisse in mein Privatleben und in meine Arbeit.
