Soweit ich zurückdenken kann, begleitet mich Musik in meinem Leben. Mit 3 ½ Jahren durfte ich schon meinen ersten Blockflötenunterricht besuchen. Eigentlich hätte ich schon in der Volksschule viel lieber Blockflöte gespielt, anstatt Schulaufgaben zu schreiben, jedoch die Schule war natürlich wichtiger. Hatte ich die Flöte allerdings nicht zur Hand dann habe ich mir meine Schulaufgaben mit Summen und Singen „verschönert“. Mein Bruder hat mich oft mit seinem Gitarrenspiel begleitet, aber entschied dann damit aufzuhören. Ich konnte die arme Gitarre doch nicht so einsam im Eck stehen sehen und somit habe ich mit 9 Jahren mit dem Gitarre spielen begonnen.
Mit 16 schnupperte ich in die Anfänge des Gitarrenstudiums am Konservatorium der Stadt Wien um nach der Matura ernsthaft Gitarre und Blockflöte zu studieren. Mit 23 schloss ich mein Studium mit der Lehrbefähigung Blockflöte und dem Zweitinstrument Gitarre ab.
Nach dem Abschluss meines Studiums entschloss ich mich in der Schweiz mit dem Studienzweig Musikalische Früherziehung zu beginnen und gleichzeitig an der Musikschule Schwyz zu unterrichten. Nach einem Jahr zog es mich doch wieder in die Heimat um das damals neu entwickelte Bachelorstudium Elementare Musikpädagogik an der Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität zu absolvieren. Dieses Studium war ein schöner Zusatz zu meinem vorherigen Abschluss und bedeutete für mich eine sehr große Persönlichkeitsentwicklung. Während dieser Zeit konnte ich durch meine Lehrtätigkeit an der Musikschule 20 der Stadt Wien einiges an Erfahrung sammeln.
Im November 2008 kam meine Tochter Emelie zur Welt, womit ich mir ein knappes Jahr völlige Auszeit vom Unterrichten und der Weiterbildung gönnte, um im Herbst 2009 mit frischen Energien wieder ein paar Unterrichtsstunden auf selbstständiger Basis zu geben und eine Ausbildung zur diplomierten Reikitherapeutin zu starten. Ich bin schon sehr gespannt, welche weiteren Stationen mein Leben für mich bereit hält.
