ROMAN ZANGERLE ist schon mit der Jazz-Gitti, dem Wolfgang-Lindner-Orchester, beim Grand Prix der Volksmusik und im ORF aufgetreten, nun spielt er mit seiner Band (Zanger- Meixner-Pistauer-Zauner-Neunteufel) auf.
Man kann schon auch ‚Austropop‘ dazu sagen, aber Roman hat sich für seine Bezeichnung entschieden, denn im Grunde hat er insofern recht, als dass er und seine Truppe von einer Austropop-Coverband meilenweit entfernt sind.
Klar, es sind die großen Hits von Ambros, Fendrich, Danzer, Hirsch, also von damals bis heute, zu Seiler & Speer und und und …
Nur, so wie es da von der Bühne kommt und klingt, ist es wahrlich ein eigenes Erlebnis. Die Titel sind alle entsprechend verändert, anders arrangiert. Intros, Soli, Bridges, alles hat seine besondere Eigenart. Seinen eigenen Klang. Neu und doch vertraut. Stets überraschend und vor allem tief berührend.
