Skurrile Zeiten bestimmen gegenwärtig unser Leben, wobei es weniger die naturgegebenen Ereignisse sind, die mir Sorgen machen, sondern eher die „Interpretationen“, fehlgesteuerten Entscheidungen, die um sich greifenden Repressalien, Manipulationen, Agitationen und andere anthropogene Erscheinungen sind, die mich staunen, aber auch zweifeln lassen. Das sind definitiv keine Geschehnisse, die ich bei den anderen Erdbewohnern wie die die Tiere und die Pflanzen beobachte, aber warum auch, sie wissen ja, wie Leben und Überleben funktioniert. Unsere „Nachbarn“ haben diesen Unfug nicht nötig und zuweilen recht neiderfüllt betrachte ich diese Nachbarn, die mir selbst als Vorbild dienen.
Der Mensch ist meiner Ansicht nach ein Naturwesen, der sich seiner eigentlichen Bestimmung öffnen sollte. Wie schon Aristoteles anmerkte, könnte der Mensch beginnen, sich „staunend“ seiner Umgebung zuzuwenden und möglicherweise den Plan zu schmieden, wie alle anderen Lebewesen leben und überleben zu wollen.
Dazu bedarf es aber einer grundlegenden Transformation, eine Hinwendung zur Natur, fernab zerstörerischen und lebensverneinenden Lebensmodellen, die oft missverständlich als „Fortschritt“ bezeichnet werden.
Als Naturwesen ist es dringend notwendig für uns, dass wir unser wieder der Natur zuwenden, eine fortlaufende Entfremdung von der Natur führt zwangsläufig zu unserem Ende.
