Nüchtern betrachtet lernen Kinder nicht fürs Leben, sondern für die nächste Prüfung. Man kann die Corona-Zeit ja auch nützen, um die generelle Sinnhaftigkeit des heutigen Schulsystems zu überdenken. Es mangelt nämlich keineswegs an Alternativen, die ein Lernen mit Freude ermöglichen – sehen Sie selbst!

wuchs in Oberpullendorf auf und wurde als Kind von seinen Eltern unterrichtet, teilweise nur eine halbe Stunde pro Woche. Als er 10 Jahre alt war, kehrte die Familie nach Niederösterreich zurück und Leppe besuchte die Regelschule. Schon im Alter von 14 Jahren, bei einem Sprachaufenthalt in Großbritannien, kaufte er sich erste Trickutensilien und eignete sich Tricks an. Nach der Matura am BORG Wiener Neustadt absolvierte er seinen Zivildienst beim Roten Kreuz. Dort zauberte er für die Patienten im Rettungswagen und gelangte dadurch zu großer Routine. Danach begann er ein Lehramtsstudium mit den Fächern Biologie und Sport, aber nachdem sich die Engagements als Zauberkünstler häuften, hat er damit wieder aufgehört.
Als Zauberkünstler hat sich Leppe auf Kartenkunst und Mikromagie spezialisiert. Er hat die Zauberkunst als Gewerbe angemeldet und lebt hauptberuflich davon.
Über seine Arbeit als Gedächtnistrainer kam er in viele Schulen und hielt in Folge Vorträge über Schulentwicklung und alternative Schulmodelle. Insbesondere die Schetinin-Pädagogik fasziniert ihn.
Im April 2020 gründete Ricardo Leppe den Verein "WissenSchafft Freiheit". Mit seinem Verein möchte Ricardo Leppe freie Schulen gründen. Seine Idee ist, den für die Externisten-Prüfungen notwendigen Schulstoff mit seinen Memotechniken in eineinhalb Stunden pro Tag zu lernen und dann für das, was Spaß macht und wichtig ist, Zeit zu haben.
