Roland Düringer
geboren 1963 in Wien, absolvierte die HTL für Maschinenbau. Seine Karriere begann mit der österreichischen Kabarettgruppe Schlabarett. 1994 spielte er – zeitgleich zur Sanierung seines Hauses – sein erstes Solokabarettprogramm "Hinterholz 8", das er 1998 zu einer Kinofassung verfilmte. Außerdem wirkte er in "Muttertag", "Poppitz", "Die Viertelliterklasse" und "MA 2412" mit.
2009 drehte er in seinem Garten die ORF-Fernsehserie "Der wilde Gärtner". Über sein Wohnexperiment im Wohnwagen berichtet er regelmäßig in seinem Videoblog "Gültige Stimme".
Im September 2016 gründete er die Partei "Meine Stimme g!lt", um damit bei der Nationalratswahl anzutreten. Zielsetzung war die Etablierung eines direkteren Wahlrechtes, weg vom Parteiensystem. Die notwendigen Unterschriften für die Kandidatur wurden erreicht; die Liste scheiterte an der Vier-Prozent-Hürde.
Weiterhin nutzt Roland seine Prominenz um auf wichtige Themen wie Nachhaltigkeit und politische Selbstbestimmung aufmerksam zu machen.
