Angelika blickt auf 40 Jahre Jugendhilfe zurück und hat in die Tat umgesetzt, was in der Theorie nicht sein kann. Das Wohlergehen der ihr anvertrauten Kinder war ihr wichtiger als die Vorschriften. So hat sie fast 12 Jahre mit „nicht mehr therapierbaren Jugendlichen“ abgeschieden auf einer Alm gelebt, wo jeder zur Selbstversorgung beitragen musste. Alle Jugendlichen fanden nach je 2 – 3 Jahren selbstverantwortlich in die Gesellschaft zurück. Auch die Querschnittslähmung, die ihr nach einem Unfall attestiert wurde, merkt man ihr kaum noch an.
Heute lebt sie auf dem Bauernhof ihres Vereins Lebensgarten Allgäu e.V. und engagiert sich für Menschen, Tiere und Pflanzen gleichermaßen, immer auf der Suche nach Förderern oder Kleinspenden für ihre zukunftsweisenden Projekte. https://www.lebensgarten-allgaeu.de/
